The Evacu-Trac CD-7 evacuation chair carries people with disabilities or injuries down stairs during an emergency. It folds up to a compact size for storage and opens ready for use in seconds. This evacuation device is equipped with a hydraulic speed governor and fail-safe brake, allowing a small attendant to easily evacuate a much larger person. Evacu-Trac CD-7 has a capacity of 136 kg (300 lbs) and is suitable for stairways of up to 40o.
